He paints for Mangkaja Arts, but due to his wife's chronic illness and his son having special needs, he has had limited time to develop his craft. When asked what started him painting, he said there was no single event, but "Once he learned to paint, he couldn't stop". His paintings are vignettes of pic characters of the Narrongkami (Dreamtime). He works in the traditional Kimberley craft of boab nut carving and painting, acrylic paint on canvas, and acrylic on carved wood such as ngurti (coolamons).
